The results of the Terry Blakeley Memorial Trophy are now available. The winners were Fliss Dombrowski and Jim Horsfield from Freckleton who beat Mary Harrison and Les Brown in a close run final. Thank you to everyone who took part, marked, measured, supported and helped with everything and special thanks to East End BC for hosting this weekend. We all send our love and best wishes to Peter Blakeley, our generous sponsor, who sadly couldn;t be with us this weekend following a fall. We wish him a speedy recovery.

Due to the extreme weather forecast for tomorrow evening and to keep everyone safe it has been decided to postpone all 4 matches planned for Thursday evening. These fixtures have been rescheduled for Thursday 27 August. A message has been sent to the captains involved and the league reps but if you know anyone affected please pass the message on. A great finals day for the Mayoress' Trophy with no rain.

The winner was Kath Lee from Lowther Gardens and runner-up was Christine Toft from Hope Street after a very closely run 21-19 game. Well done to both ladies for a great final.
