Presidents Day Results 2026
The weather on Saturday might not have been hot and sunny all day but it was at least fine.
The competition was very well supported and there was some outstanding bowling. Congratulations
to all the players who took part.
The winner after a very closely fought final was Clive Brook from Roebuck B who beat Simon
Hargreaves from Longridge Cons A 21-19. Congratulations to Clive.
Narrowly losing out in the semi-finals were Glyn Andrews (Thurlby) and Dave Holden (Barton JT)
The Quarter Finalists Dave Kay (Parkfield A), Gill Brown (Victoria). Cameron O Neill (Nateby) and
Anthony Goth (Pilling RR).
The day was a great success, and thanks go to all of the members of Scorton Bowling Club for their
help and support, especially keeping everyone fed and watered. To all who helped with marking and
measuring or in any other way to help the day run so smoothly Thank you all.
