Please be aware that parking for Nateby Bowling club has moved. This only applies to matches during the day. If you are coming from the south, please use the next turning on the left after the bowling green turning. There is a large car park and it is easy to walk to the bowling green once parked. Note that parking for evening matches is not affected and still uses parking next to the green.

It is with great sadness I must report the passing of Alan Noblet on Saturday 11th April. Alan was a member of the Barton Bowling Club for many years. He was part of the team who built the new pavilion, and President of the club twice; plus, he was a team captain, greensman and general fixer upperer. It would be impossible to count the number of hours Alan spent on and around the green, making it a better place for all members. We shall sorely miss his presence and support.

The details of Alan Noblet's funeral on Tuesday 28th April have been changed to the following:

Funeral mass will be held at St Mary's Church, Newhouse, Station Lane, Barton at 12.30 pm (Not 1 pm as originally stated)

Cremation at Preston Crematorium at 2.15 pm

Refershmernts at Broughton Club from 3 pm

You number the cards 1 to 8 in any order you want (not on averages/merit). Cup games are random turn of the cards not top and bottom 4 or averages. Numbers 1-4 are first half games and 5-8 second half.

Both Owd Nell’s teams have been withdrawn from the league, all fixtures will be replaced with a bye.
