Trophies.
We are still missing the Whalley Shield which hasn;t been seen for at least 2 season, last team before COVID to win it was Pilling RR.
Can all trophies won last season please be returned so we can get them off to be engraved.
Please can they be left at Hambleton Sports and Social Club or left in the porch at 22 The Crescent, Preesall

Cup Games.
Please remember to follow the rules for cup games.
You number the cards 1 to 8 in any order you want (not on averages/merit). Cup games are random turn of the cards not top and bottom 4 or averages. Numbers 1-4 are first half games and 5-8 second half.
Will teams also check players have played enough games to play in the cup (currently 4) and if you have a player who you need to play who hasnt played enough get in touch with the opposing captain to ask if it is ok to play said player.

Ian beat Ian Thompson (Cockerham B) 21-7 in the final
Semi-Finalists were Joyce Cowin (Dolphinholme) ; Tony Barton (Cockerham B)
Thank you to Cockerham for hosting the day which was a great success.

Presidents Day 2024 - Cockerham.
Sunday 11th August will be the Knott Eand Leagues Presidents Day Competition held at Cockerham.
Our 2024 President is Mike Thornton
Apologies must be recieved no later than Thursday 1st August.
I am allowing 2 players to enter per team (38 entries)
Can teams please tell me how many players they would like to enter.

Drawing of Cards on a matchnight Clarification.
The draw goes off the merit and not the aggregate.
The top 8 players from the clubzone team merit section are the order in which your players will be for the draw.
New players playing for the first time come in on zero merit points.
Once the draw is made for top 4 and bottom 4, then each team will pick 2 players each to go on first half (home team picking first)

Higham Cup Sunday - 19th May- 10am.
Just a reminder that the Higham Cup is to be held on Sunday 19th May at Knott End SSC from 10am.
Can players intending to enter please be there for 9.45 so we can make the draw on the day and get going for 10am thanks.
Can teams please text me a rough idea of how many pairs they intend to send before 15th May so Knott End have a rough idea of numbers for food.
Apologies must be given by Thursday 9th May.
