Whitechapel Bowling Club is hosting a friendly Charity Scramble on Sunday 16th August starting at 12:30pm.

Why not come and enjoy an afternoon of bowling on a new green set in the beautiful Lancashire countryside.

Everyone welcome bowlers and non-bowlers. Refreshments and a Jacobâs join buffet will be available.

All money raised will go towards the Presidentâs chosen charity Rosemere Cancer Foundation.

Nateby - Parking changes.

Please be aware that parking for Nateby Bowling club has moved. This only applies to matches during the day. If you are coming from the south, please use the next turning on the left after the bowling green turning. There is a large car park and it is easy to walk to the bowling green once parked. Note that parking for evening matches is not affected and still uses parking next to the green.

It is with great Sadness that i have to report that Dave Blackburn (Thornton bc) passed away on the 16th March.

Our Condolances go to hisFamily and Friends and also the Club.

Mike Billinge

It is with great sadness that we inform you of the passing of one of our bowling friends Mike Billinge. Mike moved to Lowther Gdns last year where he played for the Vets C team. Before this, he was a long standing member of Marine Park. Mike had a fall and had to go into Blackpool Hospital but moved to Chorley where he came from and his family live. He passed away in the Hospital on the 23rd December. Our deepest sympathies go to his family.
There is not to be a funeral as was his wish.

Change To Vets Draw.

At the AGM on the 2nd December, the proposal from Lowther Gdns to CHANGE THE DRAW FOR VETS LEAGUE ONLY was accepted. Therefore, next season the top four merits will be randomly drawn against each other and then the remaining four players will be randomly drawn against each other. The new rule will be officially written up in the New Year before the season start.
