The League Doubles Day Competition was won by Tom Lawrenson and Gary Saville (Goose Green) who beat Harry Fleetwood and Alan Davies (Parkfield Labour) 21-13. In the semi-finals, Tom and Gary beat John Barton and John Holden (Whittingham B) 21-15 and Harry and Alan beat Darryl Cross and Phil Roycroft (Roebuck FTs) 21-19.
Longridge & District Mixed Bowling League Parking at Garstang Subscription Club

Garstang Subscription Bowling Club advises that parking is not permitted on the private car park owned by Garstang Community Sports Club. (ie. the tennis/football club entrance) The owners rent the spaces out and need them to be kept free at all times. Th ere re is a public car park off the High Street and an entrance to the club from there. Charges apply. Message from Joan Rothwell (Club Secretary).
