THE LEAGUE MERIT COMPETITION.
This competition has not been cancelled and will now be held at Highfield Bowling Club on Friday 5th September.Hopefully as the last competition of the season, it will be well supported.

JUNE HANBURY.
It is with great sadness that I have to announce the unexpected death of June Hanbury on Friday 15th August at Preston Royal Hospital . June was a member of Poulton Bowling Club and also played at Carleton for many years. She was an excellent bowler and very hard to beat. June will be greatly missed by her family and friends. The funeral arrangements are yet to be announced.
