Postponed Matches – extension granted for rearranging matches .
After unprecedented rainfall levels saturating greens at the start of this season (affecting Over Wyre more severely) leading to greens being unfit and unsafe or play, the committee has agreed to temporarily suspend the league rule regarding re-arranging games within 21 days for matches called off due to wet weather.
Any matches that have been postponed due to a waterlogged green will have until the mid-point of the season Wednesday 12th June to play them which I hope eases any potential backlog with other leagues too.
Please keep the Fixtures Secretary informed on any further postponements and new dates for the rearranged matches.

Every team must send a player. Apologies will be accepted with a 20 pounds payment. A no show on the day will be subject to a 20 pounds fine and a 6 points deduction.

**CUP DRAW CHANGES PLEASE READ ALL TEAMS**.
Having listened to the feedback from host clubs and captains on concerns over sodden greens we;re going to give two Wednesday;s for the Prelim round to be played on 20th March and 27th March. PLEASE SEE UPDATED CUP DRAW. Those greens fit for play (as things stand if no further heavy rain) will host games this week as planned on 20th March. Those greens already deemed NOT fit will be given another week and the aim is for those matches to be played on March 27th. If any game has to be postponed this week due to inclement weather it can be played the week after. **ALL 1ST ROUND GAMES ORIGINALLY SCHEDULED FOR 27TH MARCH HAVE BEEN POSTPONED ; MOVED TO 4TH SEPTEMBER AFTER THE LEAGUE SEASON** CUP SEMI-FINALS 11TH SEPT.
