THE BOWLING GREEN AT OWD NELLS TAVERN IS NOT SUITABLE FOR OUR DOUBLES DAY COMPETITION ON SUNDAY MAY 18TH. IT IS BEING MOVED TO ELSWICK BOWLING CLUB. ALL THE TEAM STARTING TIMES ARE STILL THE SAME AS OUTLINED IN THE NEWS ITEMS ALREADY ON THE WEB SITE. IF THERE ARE ANY PROBLEMS WITH THIS, PLEASE CONTACT KATH COWELL ONLY.

Alan Holbrook.
It is with great sadness to report that Alan Holbrook who played at Barton for several years has recently passed away following a stroke. He previously played at Patten Arms and was well known around the area. For those players/friends who wish to pay their respects, his funeral is at Preston Crematorium on Monday April 14th at 1:30pm with the wake following at Broughton Club.

The list of players for all 58 teams have now been updated. The Hon. Fixtures Secretary, Carl Fazackerley, will very much appreciate it if each Team Captain could check their list and let him know if there are still errors via phone, but preferably email.
